Success Story

The Faculty of Law of University of Cape Coast on Friday 23rd September, 2016 graduated its first batch of students. The Faculty graduated 49 students with 8 making first class honours, 21 making second class upper category, 15 making second class lower division. Four students made a third class with a student making a pass. The pioneer batch also made tremendous success with about 50% of the total student body making it to the Ghana Law School. The UCC Faculty of Law enrolled its pioneer students in August 2013 for a course period of three years.

Further, the student body liaised with a television program on Coastal Television “Mmra” (which is an initiative of a pioneer batch student) to embark on a community outreach project which is meant to educate the general public on their rights and responsibilities in Ghana. This initiative is the first of its kind in Ghana since no law faculty and its student body has embarked on such a project.

We wish the first batch of students of the faculty of law well in their various endeavors and admonish them to hold the torch of excellence high and also be reminded of the motto of faculty - Integrity, Diligence and Service.

Congratulations!!! Ayekoo!!
